Apparently there is some confusion about my article as I can see from one of the comments posted on my Blog

 

I welcome your feedback on anything I write, however, there is no need to attack me personally or make assumptions about me. You know what happens when you assume things about other people.

 

~ Let me clear things up for you~

 

 In response to the person that called me "My dear". 

This article was written to address the Christian Majority -Not my fellow Witches.  I, myself do NOT practice Wicca and I am very familiar with the differences between Witchcraft and Wicca.  In fact I teach a class about it in my School ~Ancient Paths School of Enlightenment~.  The traditions I practice have been handed down to me for years through my family and I personally do NOT follow the "Harm None" creed.

 I highly suggest that you read my article again, instead of reading it once and then joining the vast majority of judgemental people that I was referring to in that article.

 

I lumped both Wicca and Witchcraft together because the Christian Majority does not know or understand the difference.  This was not my class on the History of Witchcraft or the History of the Devil or Satan Which I also teach people about in my school.  Oh, and since I was addressing the Christian Majority-Satan and the Devil are the same thing to them.  They only know what they've been taught. 

 

If this article was meant to address the history of the Craft , I would've named it as such.  It had to be generalized and simplified so the common person who has never understood or even heard of it can grasp the basic concept.  I also did not state that all Witches have a Diety. I did not state that all Witches worship a diety.  I said "to worship or live in harmony with".  "Or" being the key word here.

 

As far as Witchcraft being a Religion, there are many that would argue that it is and many that would say that it isn't.  In my opinion - It's just who I am.  

 

If I were to go and try to explain all the differences in
 Witchcraft/Wicca/Paganism/History of-people are going to become more confused and judgemental than they already are. This was not my goal with this article.  Not to mention this was a news Article with very Limited Space.  I had to give them as much basic information as possible and considering-if anyone that reads it actually decides to go research it for themselves~most of what the books they come across first will most likely refer to Witchcraft and Wicca as the same thing.

 

One last note~ if you think that I was referring to "reading a lot of books" as a way to gain knowledge and have 'true wisdom'- then you completely missed the point of the article and should consider going back to read it quite a few more times.

This is a Generalized explanation for the General Public.   Please Understand the Majority of the General Public don't understand the minor differences in beliefs that we have amongst ourselves. I kept it as simple as possible.
